Some of my favorite books I’ve read lately are from the publishing house New Society, “the activist publisher focused on solutions and social change.” That includes John Michael Greer’s The Long Descent: A User’s Guide to the End of the Industrial Age and The Ecotechnic Future: Envisioning a Post-Peak World.
That’s not to say I buy everything in them, but they have information you might not find elsewhere, and they make you think—hard—about where we’re headed.
